• Prepare environmental approval documents for a range of projects throughout WA. • Undertake technical studies in support of the EIA of proposals.• Collate ‘State of Environment’ reports requiring extensive research and broad stakeholder consultation (e.g. State of Owen Anchorage [Cockburn Sound Management Council]). • Manage compliance with operating licence conditions for numerous clients (e.g. Geraldton Port Authority, Water Corporation, Millenium Chemicals, TiWest). • Monitor and report on long-term programmes (e.g. turbidity and seagrass health in Owen Anchorage [Cockburn Cement Limited] and water quality and seagrass health [Water Corporation]). • Manage field investigations and community reporting (e.g. investigation into tributyltin contamination in the Perth metropolitan area [Swan River Trust/Cockburn Sound Management Council]). • Review environmental management systems (EMS) and provision of advice regarding possible improvements (e.g. Geraldton Port Authority, Esperance Ports Sea and Land). • Participate as a member of the ‘Business Management Group’ guiding the company’s development.• Develop and implement custom AS/NZS 2299.1-compliant commercial diving system and a technical intranet reference site. Appointed as Dive Officer 2004-2009.

• Supervise >100 marine surveys involving SCUBA, benthic grabbing, beam trawling, towed video, water sampling, dye tracking, spore dispersion, side scan sonar and oceanography. • Analyse, interpret and report environmental data. • Produce health and safety plans, risk assessments and method statements.• Implement marketing campaign (identified over 150 potential clients and produced and distributed marketing materials).
