Projects worked on: 1. Catheter construction - created a longer design and evaluated strain/integrity under tension and torsion. 2. Tactile knob - independent project encompassing conceptualization, CAD design, prototype printing, and performance evaluation of the addition to current products. Cardiologists reviewed my tactile knob addition and assessed my performance in human cadavers. Inari is expecting to implement the tactile knob in future devices. 3. During my final two weeks, I was given a challenge because of my inquiry concerning a deficiency in device function. I rapid prototyped a novel stent and a unique clot removal method. This nitinol mechanical thrombectomy scoring element is currently awaiting submission for a patent.

Researched, designed, and developed testing structures and demonstration stands for products with Solidworks, 3D printers, and other materials. These included a fixture that allowed a pressurized flow rate test to be conducted by one person, another structure for the easy and clean analysis of stent deployment in a fluid at a specific temperature, and an automated trigger-pushing device for Prodeon endoscopes.
