As an independent software engineer of over five years, I've developed strong proficiencies in many programming languages, frameworks, and technologies including Swift, Python, and JavaScript (see more under my Skills tab) and a nuanced approach to problem-solving and design. My experience has taught me the importance of empathetic design thinking, enabling me to create user-centric applications employing everything from my understanding of efficient and engaging user interfaces to my ability to produce reusable and efficient code. Along with my experience at Virginia Tech as an engineering student in the computer science department and my seven years of Christian-Arabic student tutoring at Third Church RVA, my technical expertise is complemented by a unique blend of interpersonal and communicative skills.
