Spencer Bambrick is a composer, author, educator, and electronic artist. His career as a composer, sound designer, and audio director in the video game industry spans over a decade, shipping titles and soundtracks on platforms from major consoles (Sony PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch) to PC and mobile games with millions of downloads internationally. Spencer's recent composer credits include composer and audio director for Eternights (Studio Sai, Playstation 5, Steam), additional music for Paladins (Hi-Rez Studios, console and PC), and composer for Nick Jr. Block Party (Nickelodeon, animated series), Evil Nun (Keplerians, mobile), Epic Battles of History (Frag Games, PC), and BestLuck (Jae Hyun Yoo, PC). Spencer has also designed and programmed various games and interactive installation experiences including "Voices of Hudson" (installation and video series, Hudson Emergency Arts Project) and "Spa{ce}ialization" (an interactive multichannel experience premiered at Berklee College of Music). "The Game Audio Strategy Guide," Spencer's co-authored textbook, published internationally by Taylor and Francis, was nominated for best publication at the 2022 Game Audio Network Guild Awards. Spencer is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Electronic Production and Design Department at Berklee College of Music and freelancing game and installation work in Boston, MA.
