• Responsible for an annual spend of $25 Million among multiple categories including, but not limited to, building services, food services, consulting services, Information Technology (IT), pharmacy services, physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, transportation, housekeeping supplies and services and chemical supplies. • Sole purchasing agent with direct influence on primary stakeholders in executive management. • Create and implement procurement standards to identify opportunities to save within the supply chain. • Responsible for designing and implementing sourcing strategies and procurement plans to support account, corporate and client strategies and objectives.• Coordinate all Furniture Fixtures & Equipment ordering, delivery and installation in newly developed, multi-residential senior housing communities. • Manage the entire bidding process by creating Request For Proposal (RFP) documents, negotiating with contractors/suppliers and analyzing the impact of proposed strategic direction to present to key stake holders. • Contract review, preparation and negotiation, contract administration and adherence to company policies and legal requirements and compliance. • Work with subject matter experts within the organization to develop scope of work and understand key performance metrics that ultimately affect the bottom line.• Monitor national fleet management of community vehicles including, provincial operating certificates, licensing, and maintenance programs. • Manage the process of contract terminations, expirations, extensions and renewals• Establish training programs for department heads within Environmental Services.• Provide direction and support to 40+ Facility Managers on compliance, life safety and security requirements, local procurement, vendor/contractor management and budget conformance.

Key Accomplishments in 2015- Responsible for the creation and implementation of a standard preventative maintenance program which reduced operating costs by 10% and improved the efficiency and life expectancy of organizational assets- Oversaw the implementation of a building management system (TELS) that was applied to a portfolio of 20 properties. The system ensured compliance with regulatory bodies and preventative maintenance standards improving the safety and security of our residents- Designed and administered the Fire Safety Certification program across the organization (300+ employees)- Authored Baybridge’s Operations Manual focusing on life safety, security, vendor management and maintenance procedures- Successfully negotiated multiple contracts with service providers to decrease corporate spending resulting in a 10% reduction in expenses
