As a staff accountant at Louis Dreyfus Company, I support the financial reporting and compliance functions of a global leader in agricultural commodities trading. I prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the financial statements. I also assist regulatory requirements, applying my knowledge of IFRS standards. I obtained my BBA in Accounting from Rockhurst University in May 2023, graduating with a 3.3 GPA. During my studies, I developed strong communication, data analysis, and team involvement skills, which I applied in various internships and projects. I completed a three-month audit internship at PwC, where I performed substantive testing, vouching, and documentation for several clients. I also interned at Myers and Stauffer LC, where I helped conduct Medicaid audits and reviews for state agencies. I am passionate about accounting. while hoping to grow and develop as an accountant.
