From June 2022 to October 2023 I was on the Displays team working on implementing a sleek and responsive user experience on the trucks. I got to learn how to flash new builds of software to our trucks and worked with Vue.js and Crystal to implement new features and fix bugs. In October 2023 I had the opportunity to join the Fleet Command team and since then I've been working in a whole new codebase with a very different stack. When I was on the Displays team I was working with client-side rendering and js frameworks. Since transitioning to the Fleet command team I've learned more about server-side rendering and have had an amazing time working with Ruby on Rails and Stimulus.js to implement new features for the cloud team. It's been a challenge essentially starting from scratch with a new code base and stack, but I've picked it up fairly quickly and am working to learn as much as possible about our product so I can be an asset to the team. I've also started taking production support tasks, monitoring issues using Rollbar to quickly detect and fix issues in production.

Even though I have a full time job as a Software Engineer, I also have a passion for music. So while I'm at this stage in my life where I have all this energy, I figure working at a music store in my off time is a great way to earn extra cash while still keeping up with my personal interests.

Worked full time as a Store Lead at Guitar Center during my last semester at ASU and for a few months after graduation. I was hired at an interesting time where everyone at the store was new and I had to be the one to train people while I was learning the systems at the same time. Worked with a team of up to 15 reps and aided in training both sales staff and new management on how to work the POS systems, and in the case of management, helped train them for administrative duties such as bank deposits and running reports.

Accepted a supervisor position after I graduated high school and worked with a team of 6-12 CSRs, handling escalated situations, training and providing feedback. After a few semesters at ASU for my CIS degree, I started to spend a portion of my shifts assisting in the IT department. Writing queries in our SQL database and working on creating Views to assist in data analytics and reporting Also briefly worked on developing a Java app focusing on teaching financial literacy to students until the project was put on hold due to Covid

Started working here the summer break before my junior year in high school and learned a ton about customer relationship management, interpersonal communication, and customer service.
