Our department is a combination department consisting of volunteers and paid personnel. We run an average of 1,800 calls per year with an average first due response time of 5-9 minutes. ISO Rating 3.Laramie County Fire District #1 was established in 1947 and serves the area south of the City of Cheyenne to the Colorado border. LCFD #1 also provides mutual aid with the remainder of Laramie County, and portions of Northern Colorado. Currently we have 30 members, six of which are full-time and one paid Fire Chief.
