WOHS is the state office responsible for the emergency management cycle activities across 97,000 square miles. The Preparedness Section Chief oversees the state strategy and teams relating to Planning, Training, Exercising, Cyber Security (CARE), Critical Infrastructure Protection, and Fusion Center Liaisons. This includes leadership and management across the operational tasks in Wyoming and supporting various programs like the Regional Emergency Response Teams. The State Response Coordination Center (SRCC) Manager is responsible for executing the incident action plan by managing all operations directly applicable to the primary mission of supporting state agencies along with county, local, tribal, and territorial governments in their response to and recovery from disaster. Laramie County Fire District #1 proudly protects 15,000 people living in an area of 180 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a combination department consisting of volunteers and paid personnel. We run an average of 1,800 calls per year with an average first due response time of 5-9 minutes. ISO Rating 3.Laramie County Fire District #1 was established in 1947 and serves the area south of the City of Cheyenne to the Colorado border. LCFD #1 also provides mutual aid with the remainder of Laramie County, and portions of Northern Colorado. Currently we have 30 members, six of which are full-time and one paid Fire Chief. Laramie County Fire District #1 is trained and equipped to provide the following services: - Structural Firefighting - Wildland Firefighting - Hazardous Materials Response - BLS Medical Services - Vehicle Rescue (Extrication) - Search and Rescue - High and Low Angle Rescue - Prevention, Inspection, Investigation Services and Incident Management CapabilityVolunteers serve a minimum of 48 hours per month at the station. RERT 7 is a all-hazard, multi-jurisdictional team made up of career and volunteer emergency services professionals. The three legs of the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security sponsored team are (1) Hazardous Materials, (2) High Angle/Technical Rescue, (3) Explosive Ordinance Disposal. The team serves southeast Wyoming with approximately 118,186 population, two major railroads, two thoroughfare interstates, multiple fixed facilities and clandestine drug labs. Additionally, the team maintains Preventative Radiation-Nuclear Detection (PRND) Type II Capability and I serve as a certified primary and secondary screener.Serve as a team planner and operator for the State-wide Joint Hazard Assessment Team (JHAT).

The Executive Director is responsible for representing the American Red Cross in the community and will focus externally on core mission delivery, fundraising and being the face of the Red Cross for the media, donors and their communities. He maintains oversight of the Red Cross board, service delivery, external relations, and fundraising. The ED is accountable for achieving performance targets for the Chapter, including service delivery, fundraising/revenue and expense targets. In conjunction with the Division Fundraising VP, the Executive Director has primary responsibility in the community for achievement of fundraising goals utilizing Sales Force. The Director utilizes the support activities of HR, IT, Finance, Communications and Marketing through a matrix project management system to ensure that all operating units have the necessary resources to execute on their community mission. As the Deputy Regional Disaster Officer, I serve as part of an integrated, cross-functional Senior Leadership Team that helps guide strategy and decision-making for the region. I provide strategic vision, direction and planning, and staff (employee and volunteer) and budget management for our Disaster Cycle Services programs (chapter readiness, community preparedness, response, recovery) in an 84-county jurisdiction across 207,000 square miles. I am also responsible for supporting Disaster Relief Operations, such as the Colorado Wildfires response and deploying in various command and general staff roles out of state to support relief operations. Additionally, I serve as the Red Cross representative to key state-level partners such as the State Offices of Emergency Management and Wyoming Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster, and I support the Red Cross relationship to FEMA.
