In 2010, I found a purpose and made the commitment to join the Marine Corps. By 2013, when I first pulled back on a yoke, felt the wheels leave the runway and start climbing, I knew I had found my passion.As an active duty Marine Corps Pilot flying AH-1W SuperCobra helicopters, every day I renewed my commitment to safety of flight, managing stressful environments, tactical proficiency, a hunger to learn and improve, selflessness, teamwork, supporting our customers on the ground, and achieving my assigned mission at all costs. As I developed as a Naval Aviator, those values didn't get turned in with my flight equipment. From developing junior coworkers to creating innovative processes that increased effiency and saved time and resources, my dedication to those values remained paramount and applied to any endeavor or role. My time in the Marine Corps came to an end in October 2023, and I was offered a position as a flight instructor at D2 Flight Academy in New Bern, NC where I pursued certificates to further my fixed wing aviation career as a CFI/CFII/MEI, my current focus is providing quality flight instruction to all generations of students.I’m always interested to hear about new aviation opportunities that align with my existing values of safety, innovation, mission accomplishment, perpetual learning, and producing a passion for aviation.
