As an Investment Leadership Development Program Associate (or "LDP" for short), I have the unique opportunity to gain experience and learn about the different components of the asset management industry. In my first several months as an LDP, I honed the investment process from fundamental research to producing an investment thesis while working on a corporate bond research team in the high yield fixed income sector. At the beginning of 2023, I joined an asset allocation investment team in a portfolio construction role, in which I was tasked with analyzing and providing insights on different fixed income sectors. Finally, I currently have a portfolio management role in the municipals market. Through this rotation, I have increased team efficiency through the creation of analytical tools, assisted fund managers improve fund performance by providing actionable insights, and broadened my fixed income expertise by adding knowledge of key risks and characteristics of the tax-exempt market to my skillset.

As an intern at IntriCon, I worked full-time throughout the summer of 2021 and continued to work part-time during my senior year of undergraduate university. I gained valuable corporate finance experience, supporting the finance and accounting team an a daily basis and worked very closely with the CFO. Some of my contributions include creating automated reports in Microsoft Excel to improve the efficiency of recurring processes, consolidating leadership and company information into slide decks for the reference of key investors, and forecasting internal metrics for the creation of the firm's annual operating plan.

As an Assistant Manager at the Edina Aquatic Center, I oversaw the daily operations of the pool to ensure safe operation for guests and employees. My responsibilities included elements of customer service, time and employee management, financial reporting, scheduling, maintaining inventories, and more.
