In 2015 - 2016 I hiked 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. I encountered immense beauty and also incredible challenge. In addition to changing me forever as a person, this experience also taught me:-Persistence in the face of difficult circumstances-How to plan and develop a strategy for success-Flexibility when your plans change.

-Developed communication skills by leading tour guides and information sessions for visitors -Called friends of PLNU to request funds for student scholarships in the Phone-a-thon program -Wrote and maintained student blog for the Admissions department on my PLNU experience

I worked at Saxum PR as a summer intern in 2008. Through the internship I gained hands-on experience in research, writing press releases, conducting client meetings, organizing special events, and much more.

I worked with the marketing team at World Neighbors headquarters in OKC. One of my main tasks was helping to redesign media for WN's Adopt-a-Village program. I also edited stories, designed letterheads and posters, and participated in marketing department meetings.
