Coordinate all away-from-office activities and special events for three locations while providing top-tier customer service to all clients. Help rehabilitate and integrate clients (who all have a form of mental or physical disability) into supportive communities and to foster learning amongst the populace.

Provide, train, and qualify security personnel on safety, emergency, and basic/advanced security training procedures. Includes new worker initial training; proper identification of personnel and equipment; thoroughly clearing personnel through metal detectors; and how to clear all classified material through proper transportation and destruction protocols. Train personnel to be able to provide service to multiple on-site clients and contracted companies to help improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Led 250 personnel (primarily 18 to 25 years old) over 5 years to complete everyday tasks and special assignments on time, under budget; within all safety/security parameters, and meeting all requirements. All leadership, management, and administrative duties were completed while in extremely high-stress, high-risk, constantly changing, and mentally demanding environments.

Scheduled seasonal events for a bar and grille, like Mardi Gras, which included live music concerts and food celebrations. Planned and catered to diverse personal parties and celebrations.Booked upscale annual event for the Tri-County’s week-long “Viva Big Bend” celebration with bands such as Soul Track Mind and sponsors like Tito’s Vodka and Texas Music Magazine.

Provided excellent customer service for a diverse student population living in the dorms and their families. Prepared warm and welcoming homes for those living on campus in the Family Apartments by confirming rooms were clean, had all issued furniture, and all appliances worked. Provided planning and leadership for Residential Living special events such as Resident Hall Move-in, housing assignments, and Resident Life Orientation and Retention.

Responsible for and in charge of events inside and outside of the University Center. Supervised, organized, and completed both large and small events with 6 annual events in excess of 2000 attendees. Performed opening and closing duties daily for the University Center with public use of 2000 people daily.
