I am originally from White Bear Lake, MN and I graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in 2017 with a BA in Psychology. After college, I served for four years in the U.S. Army as a logistics officer at Schofield Barracks, HI. In this role, I learned about collaborating with others, decision making, and leadership. While this was a valuable first professional experience, my passion lies with making a difference in the lives of young children as an elementary school teacher. I earned a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Boston University in 2023 and I am licensed in Elementary Education (Grades 1-6) and Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) with a Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement.As an elementary educator, my goal is to provide students with the tools they need to access knowledge, promote independence, and instill a love of lifelong learning.
