I started as a Team Manager for a local, day shift campaign. My team and I handled an HMO account. We were tasked to do outbound calls to market and produce sales for our product. After about a month, I was assigned as Officer-in-Charge, and my role was to look over all campaigns, including doing admin and recruitment tasks like conducting final interview for applicants. After about another month, I was assigned to focus on the US based, night shift campaign. It was an outbound telemarketing campaign wherein the agents were assigned to dial numbers to businesses to offer SEO services.

I started my career in this company as a fashion consultant for a fast fashion account. Fashion consultant was a fancy term for customer service representative. I handled calls for package inquiries and billing. After a month of taking in calls, with great stats and attendance, I got promoted as a POC, or point of contact, which is the equivalent of an SME, or Subject Matter Expert in other BPOs. I was tasked to assist newbies during their nesting period, or the period wherein they first take in calls for the account. After over a month of handling newbies, I was able to handle my very first team as a Team Manager when a new account launched.
