Not satisfied with the status quo. I am passionate about transforming higher education and healthcare through innovation and design. My background and career highlights include achieving tenure at a highly intensive research institution while also creating positive energy for faculty, students and staff in the teaching/learning space. I am board certified to conduct psychotherapy and formally trained to analyze large organizations and systems and to conduct research. Former positions include leadership in hospitals,, community, higher education and government. I formerly served as Academic Dean, Chief Technology Officer, Principal Investigator, Program Director, Course Professor, Project Manager, Dissertation Chair, Advisor and Committee Chair. For six years I lived in Pavilion VIII, the Lawn, as a contributor to the Academical Village and University. When selected by President Casteen to receive the Shaughnessy Sabbatical Award in 1997 for innovative teaching, I realized I could change the world. I value honesty, excellence, efficiency and quality. I believe in the power of servant leaders who have integrity and vision. I want to work with people who are top of their game: top attitude, aptitude, intelligence, intensity and integrity!
