Formal secondment 2-3 days per week to develop various systems, including - Aston University's student careers web-based system, providing a portal for approximately 20,000 students to find jobs and internships. This included an MVP of the product to meet immediate user needs for allowing publishing of jobs by careers staff, and additional development to improve features iteratively to deliver value, such as providing the ability to email alerts to students when matching jobs were found, and to allow employers to self-register and place positions on the system. - Created migration tooling to orchestrate several large-scale migrations, allowing self-service user migrations from multiple UNIX email, contact and calendaring systems to Exchange Server 2007, and self-service and co-ordinated migrations from Exchange and UNIX systems to Exchange Online; inclusive of creation of self-service user portals, IT support team interfaces, back-end scheduling and reporting, server configuration orchestration and migration tooling to extract, safely transform data and upload data using Exchange Web Services.- Provided software development on an ongoing basis to customer departments across the University, including marketing teams, build internal system front-ends, and back-end automation tooling.
