• Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and managing an efficient finance team of a 4 Star 165 room hotel. The position covers the full ownership of the monthly management accounts, comparisons to budgets.
• Full review of monthly P&L with comparisons to forecasted and budgeted revenue/costs including the preparing and reconciling monthly balance sheets reconciliations
• Continuous improvements to financial controls and other operational processes including setting up policies and procedures.
• Assist Auditors for end of year Audited Accounts and compilation of IFRS9.
• Income audit approval on a daily basis, challenging any discrepancies that occur.

Malta

• Dual role position in a company, representing Samsung in Malta involved in distribution, wholesaling and retail. Company experienced double digit growth on a yearly basis.𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲
• Responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, including income and expenditure accounts, variance analysis and supporting commentary.
• Calculating accruals, prepayments and depreciation and completing pre and post month end journal entries.
• Updating Inventory Control system, product costings and setting up prices for wholesale and retail.𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲
• Negotiated commercial terms and agreements with dealers, both new and existing on a nationa lbasis.
• Ownership for assigned top dealers which included sales visits and PR, providing information/pricing on products, introducing new products. Monitoring sales performance and assisting/resolving any issues.

Malta

• Dual role position in a company, representing Panasonic in Malta involved in distribution, wholesaling and retail. Instrumental in securing the Panasonic brand representation and relaunching of the range in Malta..
• Responsible for an organised accounts department and ensuring timely collection of debt and inventory controls. Month end computations, including reconciliations and journal posting.

• Intrastat (import/export) online document submission for cross border movement of stocks in EU.
