This includes the participation in pre-sales/sales discussions to assess potential clients' needs and provide appropriate preliminary recommendations (with regards to data modelling, technologies, timelines, etc.), leading on all data-related tasks for a given project (discovery, mapping, import/sync, continued data hygiene, etc.), acting as full project lead on more data-centric projects, running training sessions (primarily client facing, but also internally), participating in scoping and success criteria for custom development projects, establishment of connections to external systems with the use of ETL and R-ETL tools (primarily Hightouch), and more recently the design of custom SQL databases for clients whose source systems have no pre-existing connectors

Client-facing role that focused on the modeling, import, and interpretation of data, with HubSpot as the ultimate destination. Included functions such as; report and dashboard construction, running or participating in discovery and mapping workshops, extracting and transforming raw data for import into HubSpot (along with making the necessary recommendations to ensure structural combability with the CRM, whilst retaining the intended/original functionality). The ability to perform additional CRM "build" tasks - automations, lead scoring, templates, etc. was also routinely required.Beyond practical implementation, clear communication with clientele - with varying levels of technical/data competency - was key. This also extended to internal comms, where articulating actions-taken was a core part of the delivery process.

Involved with the acquistion, clean-up, analysis, and presentation of Education platform data to internal stakeholders to inform business decisions. Hands-on in the extract-transform-load processes, unification of data definitions across the department, data visualisation, the creation of interactive reports for internal use, and ad hoc data processing to answer stakeholder queries. Regular interaction with operations, customer support, and sales. Work with project managers and product owners to refine their data requirements, which are then implemented in collaboration with delivery and development colleagues. Recently completed Level 4 Data Analyst qualification with Distinction.Currently driving the implementation of Google Marketing Platforms, and investigating the use of Amazon Web Services as a source of live data.

Maintaining data integrity and facilitating the publication process in the busy Education team. Responsibilities included:- Guiding colleagues in using the PubSys and SAP platforms, from ISBN generation to data release- Maintaining good product data in all Press systems via Data Care and Supply Chain- Driving our data governance process; leading datafix meetings to ensure product data was available in a timely and accurate fashion- Raising and validating datafix forms, maintaining an awareness of colleagues' pressures and priorities- Maintaining publication dates post-datafix- Monthly reporting of team-wide metrics- Re-formatting the team's product tracker for clarity, accessibility and ease of use- Production of online documentation, for a variety of team-specific processes, to aid current and future colleagues

Primarily involved with trend analysis and data visualisation for the Cambridge Elevate platform. Responsibilities included:- Gathering key insights on usage and user behaviour over time, ranging from broad platform-wide trends, down to title/chapter specific activity- Collecting and presenting this information in an intuitive, up-to-date dashboard for use within the business and by 3rd party clients. Continued to maintain and refine this dashboard on a monthly basis- Designing and proposing new data reporting format, used to create more efficient and practicable reports with clearer criteria- Reviewing and adapting the user loading process using semi-scripted processes, decreasing turnaround time to hours at most- Task-oriented data selection, providing members of the business with specific data on request
