Key Account Controller
Current-Stay in regular contact with all clients on your portfolio to ensure that both myself and my administrator, are aware of all current and pending cargo movements.-Ensure that all current & prospective clients have updated quotes, as and when required.-Make sure that bookings are arranged with service providers, and clients are advised timeously.-Liaise with all service providers both internal and external where appropriate, to ensure that shipments move as planned and without delay, while clients are regularly given status update as per service level agreements. Where problems are encountered, work with all stakeholders to ensure that issues are resolved, and shipments are affected with as little deviation as possible from original intended scheduling and quoted costs.-Always keep both the client and management updated, of all problems with shipments while discussing and agreeing on solutions where appropriateLiaise with your existing client base regularly with a view of identifying new business opportunities of all cargoes that we currently do no move, with a view of quoting and acquiring the said business.-Ensure that proficient on all the required operating systems.-Ensure that I adhere to all operational procedures.-Ensure that all systems are updated correctly, and all documentation is administered, processed and distributed timeously according to operating procedures and relevant SLA’s.-Check all quotations and suppliers’ invoices on your own accounts before submitting them to key account manager.-Ensure that all input and updates on Cargo Wise are processed timeously before invoicing and that all files are completed accurately with all required information before submitting to the Key Account Manager
