Whersky is a website, blog and movement focused on increasing diversity and inclusion on the whisky community. I co-founded the company which launched publicly in September 2014. I currently create branded class materials for Whersky educational events. Work with liquor sponsors and educators to acquire product, create curriculum, and instruct whisky education classes. Write, edit, and shape articles for the Whersky.com blog. Create partnerships with influential beverage industry people and brands. Whether you're in a kilt, heels -or both- Whersky welcomes you.

Effectively set, monitor and manage reasonable on and off premise distribution goals within my territory for each of my distributor partners. Maintain and develop relationships with key accounts in my territory. Develop and maintain close relationships with key management personnel within each of my distributors. Cultivate new business by maximizing opportunities in existing accounts and expanding in new accounts by conducting samplings, promotions and educational seminars at the retail and consumer level.Utilize current technology and social media effectively to execute and promote brand initiatives throughout the territory. Track and manage distributor product and POS inventory, and marketing budgets.

Work with distributor reps in market (ride-withs) to generate incremental placements that will need to be followed up with a training. Develop local events/incentives to effectively create buzz within the key accounts. Act as the lead informational promotional manager in your market. Develop and Train 2-3 “back-ups” to assist with larger events as well as account visits outside your ability to support. Develop/provide cocktails for local requests such as menus, special events, and local media needs. Ingrain yourself in the Mixology/Bar community, maintain a positive pulse for Angel’s Envy, be the local expert. Actively participate with social media, event announcements and on-line programs. Assist with Media requests. Provide timely monthly reports to track successes, issues, market dynamics. Present suitable brand opportunities to your supervisor(s) as they present themselves

Create cocktails using Japanese ingredients and flavor profiles. Able to discuss the complex, extensive menu and spirits selections. Guide customers through their culinary experience being mindful of preferences and allergies. Complete bar inventory and create new cocktails to utilize excess stock.

Represent luxury brands like Moet-Chandon, Hennessy, Ardbeg, and Glenmorangie in the Moet-Hennessy portfolio. Learn all brand standards, history, and selling points. Engage with customers and provide a memorable and educational experience. Arrive early to set-up events and communicate with the venue management. Follow all local liquor laws

Perform for and engage children at local hospitals and schools. We work to entertain children with a variety of physical and mental disabilities.

Re-create pre and post-prohibtion cocktail recipes. Create a social media voice that unites Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Interact with patrons to ensure a memorable bar experience.

Recommend all liquors and have knowledge and familiarity with the rotating wine list. Maintain high quality customer service. Train new servers on proper service standards and techniques.

Maintain a clean, fun, and efficiently run bar. Knowledge of the proper ingredients, proportions, and techniques to cre- ate cocktails. Assist with opening and supervising the restaurant as a Part-time manager. Train incoming servers on the standards and procedures. Discuss the beer and the brewing process with customer’s and large parties.
