Everyone is asked at some point in their life - "what do you want to be when you grow up?" Many of us are still trying to answer that question. Most of us know the answer, but haven't lived out that dream. And I am willing to bet that for the majority of us, working in the insurance industry was probably not one of those dreams. My path to insurance technology was definitely unique and happened by chance. I was working for a non-profit R&D company in West Virginia and had just completed projects for NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and Intelligent Flight Control Systems when life changes required me to take a different path in my career. I ended up at an insurance carrier with my first glimpse at insurance technology. It was here that I realized I wanted to make insurance software better. So I switched to the vendor side and reimagined insurance pricing and policy admin software and found my passion for insurance technology, and more importantly, insurtech marketing. So, I am not your typical insurtech marketing professional, but I bring decades of real experience, my passion for creativity, brand development and story telling to help insurtech companies achieve their full potential.
