Understanding and implementing the tools and services available for taking the interpretation of the data a step further creates opportunities for greater understanding and profitability. - Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overall direction while providing employees the roadmap so that the company vision can be fulfilled.- Setting up the corporate strategy and evaluating the results. - Preparing annual operating plans as per the directions set by the Board of Directors and submitting the operating plans for approval.- Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting and financial forecasting. - Communicating transparently with the Board to inform them of business performance, strategic opportunities, areas of concern and difficulty, with regular board meetings and reporting. - Establishing a practice of KPI monitoring that precedes period P&L statements to deliver actionable (where needed) information to the corporate team while training the customer-facing managers that our finger is always on the pulse. - Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the evolution of our industry, our competitors, and consumer taste. - Liberate the corporate team with decision-making ability, both yes and no. The ability to know when risk/return warrants going for it and taking on risk.That is my job.
