Autonomous Vehicle System Assistant Engineer
I was member of the university's F1/10 FOCETA Autonomous Vehicle project. The project is completely voluntary, and aims to design a car that will run as part of the biennial and global F1/10 competition. More information can be found here : https://f1tenth.org/ .• Build-up of the vehicle according to the standards of the competition and use of the Robot Operating System for real time scenarios.• Learning about the principles of perception, planning, and control for autonomous vehicles and how these should be connected as a subsystem of the autonomous vehicle.• Design and implementation of path planning algorithms and strategies including obstacle detection and avoidance.
