About Samantha Land

Hello, I'm Samantha Land and I work in Production for video games and animation.My work as a Producer for Postcard Game Studio on an Unannounced Open-World RPG-Shooter included producing multiple teams such as contract Concept artists, Environment Art team, Narrative team, World Design team, UI/UX team, and Outsource Environment Art. Beginning on the ground floor of a start-up environment has allowed me to propose and establish infrastructure, pitch and iterate on production processes, and collaborate with my teams on workflows.My past work includes Art Director on Alula Jungle and Alula Island, an original IP by Alula Learns creating educational video games for dyslexic students where I concepted and created the entire scope of art, production processes, and managed teams of students. At LIVE Lab I worked as a Concept Art Co-Lead where I maintained day to day task management for the acting lead, and created multiple style exploration Vis-Devs and prop designs. At GingerBud I created 27 unique backgrounds for "Getting Bigger" by The Living Tombstones and tracked 8 contractors and their shots. I have a Bachelor of Science in Visualization from Texas A&M University with a focus on Animation and Illustration. My background in concept art and animation has allowed me to approach producing teams with awareness and empathy. I can pitch and execute creative solutions that favor the creator and champion their work, prioritizing their ease of work and access to tools.
