This resulted in $123 million (over five years) invested in our region to support families, housing and the forest.• Raised funds and renovated an old motel to provide dignified office space for critical needs nonprofits, resulting in streamlined services and the merger of four established nonprofits.• Structured a soft-financing deal for an affordable housing project through impact investing, resulting in 77 new units in downtown Truckee.• Established the Mountain Housing Council, bringing together 29 institutional partners in regional collaboration, resulting in 400+ new housing units, three social enterprises, two successful tax measures and multiple local housing programs.• Launched $30 million Forest Futures campaign for regenerative forest solutions, resulting in 12:1 leverage, 20+ jobs, 135,000 acres impacted, two state-wide workforce conference and a CA State Fair exhibit.• Recognized as a Rural Development Hub by the Aspen Institute.•Successfully advocated and lobbied for AB440 which redefies the formula for affordable housing to be locally informed, and gives more financial tools to housing JPA's and authorities. -

Ceo And PresidentDallas Social Venture Partners Jun 2007 - Feb 2012Part of an international network of Social Venture Partners in which highly-skilled volunteers and donors roll up their sleeves to strengthen the nonprofit community with a venture investment framework. Responsible for day-to-day operations and staff to build a strong membership based partnership that provides capacity building, leadership development and grant making to the social impact network in Dallas. Redesigned and significantly grew the monthly partnership luncheon around social innovation and featured social entrepreneurs locally and internationally. Designed and launched bigBANG!, a social innovation conference that has celebrated more than ten years of success. Successfully lobbied on behalf of the SVPI network to establish a Social Innovation Fund, which was established under the Obama White House.
