UI Lead (contract) in the Advanced Technologies group, building out a new BETA search platform for JSTOR, the world’s largest online archive of academic journals. Collaborated between the UX group and a brilliant Platform Engineering team to construct a faceted search interface rich in JavaScript JSON widgets on the presentation layer. I was responsible for building the front end to UX specs (HTML5/CSS3), identifying and implementing WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 accessibility standards, and integrating the front end with a Django / Solr framework using Python.

ADP Application Engineering (AE Ann Arbor). Long term contract reporting directly to VP of Engineering. Designed and implemented custom Master Pages and semantic HTML layouts for ADP’s Enterprise SharePoint (SP) Collaboration Portal, used by 10,000+ associates worldwide. Delivered JavaScript/JSON solutions, customized DOM templates and 3rd party controls (i.e. Quest web parts, Teleric) for ADP division and regional sites, use of SP Designer for "virtual conduits" that seamlessly connect business requirements and advanced .NET applications into highly intuitive, elegant and engaging solutions (specifically in MOSS2007 and SP2010).

Founder/CEO Sploofus Corp. Developed a LAMP-driven social network based on trivia which evolved into one of the most trafficked gaming communities on the internet, serving nearly 10 million page views per month with an accumulated subscriber base of nearly 200,000 users. Procured investment capital and gained shareholders to fund the infrastructure needed for a distributed and load balanced systems architecture with extensive database replication services spanning many servers. In March, 2011 Sploofus was restructured and I am now a silent partner in the company.

Assisted in developing a proprietary application for the University of Michigan Health System. MedHub manages the shift rotations, call schedules, evaluations, procedures and administrative reporting for all 5,000 medical residents and faculty across all departments and services at U of M hospital. With a stellar management team, MedHub has since grown from its grass roots to become the de facto industry leader in enterprise Graduate Medical Education (GME) residency management software; implemented in over 20 teaching hospitals worldwide including The Cleveland Clinic, Stanford, Yale, and the University of Iowa.

Advanced Data Processing: (NYSE: ADP) – Developed browser based .NET intranet applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XSLT to monitor and manage services spanning over 5,200 servers in their Ann Arbor, MI data center. With over $7 billion in revenues and approximately 500,000 clients, ADP is one of the largest independent payroll and human resource administration firms in the world. Responsibilities included gathering requirements from stakeholders across the enterprise and translating them into scalable workflow solutions.
