I have solid experience as a Social Services professional that engage and build relationships with employers, community leaders, and other business leaders to gain assistance with creating hiring opportunities for clients. I educate clients about available community resources to promote stabilization, self- sufficiency, and facilitated service referrals based on the needs identified in the client’s housing situation/plan. I establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with local landlords, real estate agencies, and rental communities to help clients obtain permanent housing.What I Do:I promote and develop employment opportunities and on-the-job training opportunities for clients. I help clients develop new skills for job placement; works with clients to overcome barriers and obstacles that may impact his/her ability to retain gainful employment.
