Volunteers save us hundreds of thousands of dollars that we can direct toward our mission. We love seeing new face at Joseph House Community Food Bank and we have a variety of opportunities for groups, families and individuals. Our opportunities range from sorting and repackaging donated food, preparing sacking food, helping at special events, administrative support and more. (Disaster and Humanitarian Relief)

The Joseph House International Food Relief Program supplies food and life-saving ad to the world's most vulnerable people, and works to end global hunger in our lifetime. Established in 1997, we have provided millions of meals. We are based in Coweta, Oklahoma and operate throughout the U.S. and through affiliates in developing countries.The mission of the Joseph House Community Food Bank is to feed the hungry through a network of programs and to engage our communities in ending hunger. Our vision is food security, with dignity. We provide food and other donated goods. Programs include emergency food pantry, soup kitchen and senior citizens.

Developed Advertising Database (ad change) for major contributors including Nabisco, Pepsi. Prepared company schedules and correspondence for in-store installations nationwide. Prepared and maintained company billing which was main source of revenue for company. Audited expense reports for 40 field service personnel. Purchased and/or leased company vehicles, pagers, storage facilities. Maintained personnel ad change & service itineraries report for up to 100 technicians.

Owner and operator. Developed a specialized program that provided care for children of all ages. Involved children in cultural programs including museums, wildlife preserves, state parks. Took children hiking and walking trails at local nature centers. Taught children water safety and to swim and dive. Certified life guard and certified in CPR. Developed educational programs for children to read and took kids to summer reading programs at local libraries where they all completed the programs and recieved medals and rewards. Cooked and planned meals for breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Assisted in planning exhibits and trade shows. Audited expense reports for field pro staff and area managers (150 employees). Assisted in market research development and product forecasting. Coordinated Company mailings and surveys. Prepared documentation for international shipments. Processed sales orders for satellite division. Assisted Video communications director with development of company videos. Assisted budgetary planning for departments. Liaison between law firm and office personnel for company lawsuits. A professional cheerleader for Tulsa Roughneck's and team captain.Choreographed dance routines for Roughneck cheerleaders. Choreographed dance routine for all cheerleaders in Oklahoma for opening of the Beach Boys, an American Rock Band that performed half time during the Roughneck game. Public appearances for many advertisers including performing in commercials for Git N Go and Sawnson Chevrolet; and modeling in print ads for Mazzios Pizza. Competed in Miss Teen Tulsa Pageant in 1983 and was personally sponsored by Tulsa's Fraternal Order of Police and City of Tulsa.Performance as an extra in the movie Rumble Fish which was filmed in Tulsa.Note: The Tulsa Roughnecks (1978–1984) were an North American Soccer League (NASL) team from Tulsa, Oklahoma. They played at Skelly Stadium on the campus of the University of Tulsa. The Roughnecks were a regular in the NASL playoffs, and won the NASL Soccer Bowl in 1983.

In high school I was involved in Future Business Leaders of America and Cooperative Office Education. I went to school half day and worked half day. This job at Tyler Dawson was a part of that program. I was also the President of Future Business Leaders of America. I also studied French during this time. My job at Tyler Dawson consisted of collecting checks and making deposits. The company was bought out and I changed jobs and went to Lowrance Electronics.
