Developed a Health Information Exchange (HIE) integrated software solution for secure messaging. This project is being co-developed with GE’s e-health team for a large regional healthcare organization in Pennsylvania.- Lead an Health Information Exchange project for enabling CCD exchange between GE Centricity EHR clinics and a regional HIE document repository at Statewide Health Information Network of New York (SHIN-NY). The CCD exchange is based on clinical workflows that involve capturing and transmitting patient consent, securely retrieving consolidated CCDs from the HIE before a patient visit, and submitting updated CCD after a patient visit to the HIE. The end users are expressed to the HIE through SAML and Patient Consent (BPPC) is expressed through XACML- Developed software functionality to allow GE’s Centricity EMR pass CCHIT certification and implemented features that satisfy ARRA/HITECH based Meaningful Use criteria.- Developed a Secure Email Gateway solution that integrates secure email with EHRs to enable secure exchange of clinical records between physicians for patient referrals or between patients and physician, while maintaining access controls and audit trails.Technologies: Microsoft .NET stack.
