Working on a new team developing a kiosk application (React/Remix/Node/Tailwind). We collaborate with the API team to develop contracts and consume the REST endpoints. The application lives in Azure with a deployment process that lives in GH actions.As one of the few local folks on my team (very distributed across the US), I’ve also been helping with the physical testing and installation of the kiosks by building the stands and installing the Elo tablets.Tech stack: Remix, React, Typescript, SCSS, Tailwind CSS

Created and improved general features and one-off pages, coordinated and lead projects with third party agencies, acted as the on-call person when any questions or issues would arise, managed and coordinated releases, worked with design in an attempt to standardize components to simplify the development process, used Contentful to create templates so internal stakeholders could create and update pages on their own, added and updated tests to stabilize the codebase, took on extra tasks to make improvements when and where there were opportunities, streamlined the CI/CD process, and conducted interviews.Notable projects: A pricing calculator for Confluent Cloud.Tech stack: React with Gatsby, SCSS, GraphQL, and Contentful.

Worked within the Search team on the discovery platform which supports Search, Google Assistant, Google News, and the Google Podcast app. My main focus is creating high fidelity web-based prototypes for user testing, proof of concept, or idea exploration. I have the freedom to propose my own ideas while some also come from PMs or other folks in the User Experience org.Tech stack: Node with Express, ES6, and SCSS.

Worked with the public/not logged in part of 23andMe’s website. A ton of collaboration with the marketing team and their designers. I mainly worked on the campaigns throughout the site for different promotions (holidays, sales, etc…).Notable project: implemented time-gated feature switches so no deployment was needed for a feature launch.Tech stack: jQuery, SCSS, Django, and Python.

I regularly helped out any junior developers with browser idiosyncrasies, general coding gotchas, and any other questions they had. We also did our best to help grow and maintain the culture at the company.I was also on the JavaScript committee where we set standards; vetted and introduced new and exciting tools, libraries, and new features of the language; and generally tried to help steer the company in a well thought out direction in regards to LinkedIn's front end technologies.Notable projects: Implemented the first iteration of Mentions (JavaScript with jQuery), worked on the notifications team and implemented the first notifications dropdown on LinkedIn (JavaScript with jQuery), Onboarding/New User Experience team (backbone.js app), worked with the Ember.js based version of both the mobile and desktop site with the profile team -- Profile Guided Edit, general profile edit, and the profile display.I worked with a number of frontend technologies through my 5+ years at LinkedIn. Eventually, we ended up with an Ember.js based stack (Ember, Handlebars, SCSS).

My focus was on user interaction. Mostly this was providing functionality updates or new features on their existing suite of internal and external products. In addition, I and the other UX developer created prototypes for usability testing. We also participated in the usability testing and helped make on-the-fly adjustments to our prototypes.

Worked on Rittal's internal and external websites. Responsible for the full-stack.

Worked primarily on the front-end but was a full-stack developer on Gensuite's web properties.

I transitioned from purely a design role to doing everything up to and including: working with Business Analysts to help create and curtail specifications for projects, designing new solutions, implementing those designs on the frontend, building the databases with MS SQL Server, interacting with those databases using ColdFusion, and working with customers to optimize any and all parts of these solutions.Notable projects: I created the first version of IMADs for Oshkosh Truck and the Army to use while doing field repairs for vehicles. It was an interface developed to allow field maintenance personnel to input what was damaged on their vehicles, indicate the parts they needed, and create a parts request from the ToughBooks it was installed on.
