Developed the concept for the first national homecoming for Vietnam Vets.Established the not for profit, 501.C3 corp., Operation Homecoming, USA.Planned coordinated and helped resource the week long, $4.5 M event in Branson, MO, June 13-19, 2005.

Coordinated the use of Federal Government resources (land, equipment and funds) for training of over 75,000 personnel annually. Synchronized the use of these resources between 212 diversified organizations throughout the continental United States. Trained, and deployed Reserve Forces to augment Active Duty Forces during Operation Desert Storm. Managed a self-sufficient medium custody confinement facility with a prisoner population of 300.Coordinated a supporting staff of 100 military and civilian personnel. Designed and implemented a prisoner accountability system and guard certification program which resulted in zero escapes during my tenure as commander. This was in sharp contrast to the five escapes that occurred only six months prior to my command.

Managed the development and design of a tactical, automated command and control information management system for all US and ROK Forces in Korea. Coordinated facility design and contracted for facility construction by the Korean Government. Briefed Congressional steering committee for funding appropriations and received $72 million for the purchase and implementation of the system.Negotiated with the Korean Ministry of Defense for funding of facility construction.
