Expanded the Engineering Department from 25 to 54 employees and reorganized with 5 product development squads, three labs in two facilities (Canada and US). Focused on developing manufacturable EV motor drives (Coil Drives) and a Battery Energy Storage System that dynamically monitors and controls lithium-ion cells for 1st and 2nd life.

Executed new and existing Battery Energy Storage product development projects and managed R&D activities including DVT, Beta field testing, certification proofing and process. Responsible for product design architecture and product management review. Focused on developing a new 10kW/20kWh residential BESS for the North American market.

Managed product design quality and design for manufacturing activities within the Engineering Department for all power electronics inverters and BESS. Responsible for engineering change management, product lifecycle management, root cause analysis and technical risk management.

Implemented operations restructuring plans in North America by launching in-house manufacturing and streamlining supply chain. Established European operations and setup contract manufacturing with JABIL in Italy. Expanded operations including product assembly in Hawaii and Australia. Championed and implemented the IBP and advanced S&OP process globally. Supported and major customers Q-Cells GmbH, Mercedes-Benz Energy, GmbH, Sunnova Energy Inc. and CED Inc.

Bridged the boundaries between Engineering and Project Management and key technical liaison on all major European customers, especially Sonnen GmbH on their residential BESS product. Setup, commissioned and monitored the assembly line of energy storage inverters in Bavaria, Germany. Commissioned second production line with Asteelflash in Germany.
