As a research assistant I worked in several projects undertaken by the Laboratory of Engineering Geology of the Department of Geology, University of Patras, Greece, regarding geological and geotechnical investigations of major engineering works and landslides. My main responsibilities included::- Logging of drillholes or trial pits. Soil and rock sampling.- Geological, geotechnical mapping and geological data analysis.- Performing laboratory tests on soils and rocks (basic classification and advanced geotechnical tests).- Preparing technical data reports.
