About Patrick Ogren

Since 1995 I have been involved with graphic design in one way or another. I cut my design teeth at the San Angelo Standard-Times in San Angelo, Texas. Until then, I had only computer use experience with no specific skill set. Building advertisements every day using a Macintosh gave me formative experience in both graphic design for marketing and pre-press techniques. My education is in English (literature) and Journalism...but art had always been attractive, though I had no formal training except for some classes taken during my formative years. My professional goal is to continue my work in graphic design and improve my skills and talent as far as I can take them.Web design has been a passion for quite some time, and an opportunity to use my design skills for a new media has been of great interest to me. I've developed a good number of websites using just HTML and CSS, and them moved into XHTML and php/MySQL, and finally arrived at WordPress, the most flexible of all the frameworks I've (tried to) use. All but one of my clients has been migrated to WorfPress, but one.
