Currently, as a Catholic Campus Minister, I am called to "enhance the presence and the ministry of the church within higher education and to influence the future of the church and society with the message of the gospel." As a Consecrated Woman Religious I am challenged to witness the gospel message with my life through the profession of my vows of povery, consecrated celibacy and obedience. Additionally, as a Grey Nun of the Sacred Heart and spiritual daughter of Saint Marguerite D'Youville, I long to bring the message of hope, hospitality, friendship and compassion to the students, staff and faculties of those institutions of higher learning to which I serve. My trust in Divine Providence, love for the Eternal Father, faith in the Cross and devotion to the Sacred Heart should permeate my life and become evident to all I meet.Most recently I was responsible for the development of a Parish Young Adult Ministry as well as opportunities for Adult Faith Formation. Networking with other grassroots groups as well as established Diocesan movements is integral to the ministry.Past experiences in Young Adult Ministry on the Diocesan Level as well as Campus Ministry and Vocation Ministry for my Religious Congregation has given me a wealth of knowledge, experience and grace.
