Communications Specialist
CurrentThe Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications manages the state's most pressing community engagement and public awareness efforts, including COVID-19 vaccinations, water conservation, extreme heat safety, and Individual Taxpayer Identification Number. As lead writer for the office, responsible for the research, analysis, and synthesis of relevant information across all four campaigns to develop messaging that was used as the basis for earned, creative, and organic lanes, including media releases, fact sheets, and web pages. Responsible for maintaining accuracy of approved language with rapidly adjusting campaign messaging. Worked closely across a broad range of stakeholders including the Governor's Office, state agencies, and community based organizations to ensure messaging was culturally appropriate. Seen as point of authority/expert across all campaigns including but not limited to vaccine authorizations, water conservation basics, and extreme heat related illness. Lead copywriter and copyeditor across all campaign websites. Executed day to day programmatic, operational, and administrative matters of Office projects and activities to ensure consistent, open, and honest lines of communication across all established communicational channels.
