I have an MA in Urban Design with a background in Urban Planning. Over the past ten years, I completed 190 advanced university credits and worked on various projects and research in my field. My scholarly work focuses on Climate Resilience, Urban Health, and recently Walkability. I emphasise meso-scale interventions and citizen participation. My research background combines both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. My qualitative work includes my MA dissertation, which has focused on a framework to mitigate the adverse effects of urban heat islands using urban acupuncture. Additionally, I have contributed to the publication of review papers. On the quantitative side, I have published papers in esteemed international journals using a range of methods and software, including VOS Viewer, Bibliometrix, Geographic Information System, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, and Meta-Analysis. Currently, I am conducting a meta-analysis on walkability in built environments. I hope to continue my studies in a PhD or Master's programme related to my research areas. I have experience as a research assistant, a project executive, and an urban designer at various organisations, including the World Health Organisation, Shahid Beheshti University, and the National Elites Foundation. My professional experiences provide me with valuable insights into theory and practice. I am tech-savvy and learn new programmes quickly. I am eager to learn about research, and my ultimate goal is to apply my studies to real-world built environments to improve the quality of life for people.
