This new role is a breadth of IT and business experience with expertise in data mining, various BI software, analytical tools and data environments. Responsible and own the analytics environment on access, licenses, guidelines and best practices working directly with the Analytics Academy on documentation and training. Own the analytics environment from a business perspective and be the key liaison to IT. Act as a champion for self-serve tools to the rest of the business accountable for user adoption and helping unlock data assets through business intelligence platforms. Working as a partner to help plan the strategic direction of how to deliver business intelligence to the user community while maximizing the tools is also a key responsibility. Create and Lead the Business Data Governance framework as well as the Data Governance council meeting. Create and manage the business glossary and policies. Manage the workload for assigned data stewards.

Business Owner and Team Lead of the Microstrategy Reporting team during the migration of more than 150 reports from all departments (Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Partnership, Call Center, etc.) from business objects to Microstrategy.Deliver reports to support different initiatives (Distinction program, Air Canada Renom program, Unica Upgrade, etc.). Business owner of new enhancements to the existing Datawarehouse. Approving the implementation of each changes as our datawarehouse is currently going thru a major overhaul..Business owner of the enhancements to the existing infrastructure from DB2 to ParAccel. Participating in testing the new ParAccel patform and the new SAS upgrade.

Provide an automated solution to eliminate manual work around data gathering for campaign effectiveness measurement with our Email Provider. Responses files are sent daily and loaded in our datawarehouse.Provide guidelines around the implementation of UNICA (Campaign Management Tool) at Aeroplan.Implement a reporting solution with different levels of aggregation to support the business needs around Campaign Analysis.Implement governance around Campaign information to ensure quality inside the reports for Campaign Analysis.Leverage existing reporting solution using a data visualization tool (Tableau) to facilitate the access to the campaign information.
