Uuma used Artificial Intelligence to create a personalized store for busy professional women who are design and style conscious buyers of high-end Bridge and Designer fashion. A 'personalized SAKS Fifth Avenue' catering to her taste, her style, her size, her color, her hair, her eye. An online version of what a real life personal shopper does for women of this segment. Years later, in 2007, Sramana defined her vision of Web 3.0 based on this venture.The company was financed by Redwood Ventures and received a acquisition offer from Ralph Lauren, but did not accept. Partners included major fashion brands such as Tahari, Anne Klein, Philippe Adec, and many more.

Using a variety of Artificial Intelligence techniques including Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning, Intarka's flagship product ProspectMiner offered sales lead generation and qualification solutions to businesses. This was one of India's first-ever product venture. NEA funded the company. It was later acquired by Update.

One of the earlier Indian outsourcing services companies that Sramana used to bootstrap a product company (Intarka) later on and get it venture funded in Silicon Valley. DAIS was the genesis of one of the first ever product companies from India in history. 47 Silicon Valley VCs rejected to fund the venture because the team was doing product development in India until NEA stepped up. Just five years later, every VC wanted product development operations in India. Such is the course of progress. Years later, Sramana wrote a book, Bootstrapping Using Services, based on this seminal experiment.
