Approximately half of the total physiological Mg stored in bone tissuehave functional roles with stimulatory effects on the growth of new bone tissue.Bio compatibility and bio-activity are closely associated with the surface chemistry and topology which dominate the interaction of material with biological molecules,cells and tissues.In Vitro Bio-compatability tests: were carried out through cell based assays for evaluating cellular attachment, spreading on the biodegradable materials and there Stability/Degradation studies in biologically simulated body fluids (solution with an ion concentration close to human blood plasma).In Vivo Biocompatability assessment: A model was developed for in vivo osteogenesis implanted in rabbits to assess tissue in growth and cell differentiation for a period of 3 and 6 months.Mg Implants serve as preferable biocompatible, biodegradable, and load-bearing implants due to its appropriate rate of degradation, and excellent in vitro and in vivo biocompatibility and osteogenic characteristics over the healing period.II-Another perspective research in lab, involved in understanding human embryonic stem cells in restoring lost tissue.Human embryonic stem cells have the potential to treat a wide range of degenerative diseasedconditions, but its therapeutic potential is hindered due to contamination from serum products and live feeder cells.HESC's were studied by culturing cells in feeder-layer free ( decullarised ECM from fibroblast cells) and serum-free conditions and a combination of growth factors to maintain them in an undifferentiated state.
