Project Manager for the Kwinana Waste to Energy (KWtE) facility with Acciona as the EPC Contractor for the first thermal Waste to Energy facility constructed in Australia. The KWtE project is a waste processing facility which will use moving grate technology to process approximately 400,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste, commercial and industrial waste per annum to produce approximately 36MW of baseload power for export to the grid.

Jemena was selected by the NT Government to build, own and operate the 622km Northern Gas Pipeline. A key part of the project is construction of the Phillips Creek Compressor Station, which is the start of line/receipt compressor station. The PCCS comprises gas compression infrastructure including filtration and separation equipment, and is powered by duty/standby Gas Engine Alternators. Civmec were awarded an $85million contract for construction of the PCCS, including camp setup, site civil, steel fabrication and the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation installation works.

I was employed as a Graduate Site Engineer on the Perth Seawater Desalination Project. The Desalination Plant, located in Kwinana, produces 45 billion litres of fresh drinking water a year – around 18% of Perth’s water supply. I was involved in all mechanical and piping construction works on site, focusing particularly on procurement, work packs and test packs.
