I am an engineering post graduate with over 20 years of experience in successfully delivering a wide range of roles ranging from handling industrial automation projects at an engineering multinational to being the CEO and Editor-in-chief of a leading wildlife magazine in India.In my role as a CEO, I have set up a nationwide network of of 2000 schools and 50,000 students and work in partnership with NGOs and corporate sponsors across the country. The Saevus Eco Achievers Quiz, an initiative conceptualized and driven by me, is the biggest middle school wildlife quiz in the country held in 40 cities for the last nine years.My innate passion is for the written word and I have enjoyed my role as the Editor of the premier wildlife magazine Saevus. In my tenure as the editor, spanning 13 years, I have led teams of copy-editors, designers, illustrators and proofreaders. Having involved myself in every aspect of publishing from concept development and ideation to design, layout, editing, typesetting, proofreading and printing, I have had the opportunity to publish almost 90 issues of periodicals, as the Editor of Saevus and in my freelancing and volunteering stints with other organizations. In the same vein, I have developed proficiency in Graphic design and Video-editing on Canva Pro and iMovie and have created yearbooks, posters, pamphlets, bulletiins and promotional videos.I bring a blend of creativity and perspective to every publication I work on, injecting fresh ideas and innovative thinking, ensuring that it resonates with readers. My publications have been widely appreciated and received several awards and recognitions. I am open to exploring collaborations and interesting editorial opportunities.
