As a lead member of the Application Support team, maintain the application availability 24/7 with the goal of providing excellent service to end users and meet the Service Level Agreement and exceed management expectations. The responsibilities includes : Act on the production incidents tickets reported as alerts, BMC Remedy, Lotus Notes with a sense of urgency to minimize impact, interact with all stakeholders infrastructure, developers, testers for the sooner turnaround to closure to the incidents, meet customer expectation, keep abreast the management, customers on the status of the incident. Monitor Java Web Applications Performance and Availability using HP Business Process Management Tool for user activity, BMC Proactive Net for application servers performance, Team Quest, Solaris process commands, WebSphere Admin console to monitor JVMs, Threads, Connection Pools usage, Setting up alerts to notify production support team, customers on any service interruption.
