I am heading the Business Development, Marketing & Communications functions for Arabian Industries Group companies including AIP, AITS ,TOCO, AI Qatar and AI Iraq. I am also spearheading the regional expansion and cross-fertilisation of our skills across the group companies in the Middle East region.Apart from conventional energy projects/opportunities, I am actively involved in the development of New Energy / Energy Transition / Hydrogen portfolio within our business.

I represent the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) in the Sultanate of Oman. This is a volunteer position established by IMechE to serve the engineering community within Oman.

I also acted as the key account manager for our clients and was responsible in maintaining excellent working relationship with client representatives. In this capacity , I also acted as a subject matter expert in trouble shooting planning, quality and technical matters. I worked closely with site managers and project managers in meeting client expectations while meeting/exceeding QHSE objectives and profitability. My operational challenges included managing, resourcing and planning for ad-hoc works, call-off contracts, shutdowns, fast track construction contracts and emergency work in an extremely cost sensitive market. My role was a combination of technical, commercial and managerial nature with an overarching responsibility of the projects under my portfolio (~90% of company TO).Sep 2007 - Apr 2013 : Qatar Operations -Madina Group WLLDuring my time in Madina, I headed the Operations, Business Development, Marketing and Planning functions at various stages . I managed long term frame work contracts , large construction works, maintenance , shutdowns and EPC contracts for national and international oil, gas and petrochemical companies.
