I headed Operations , Business Development, Marketing and Tendering functions within Interserve group companies at various stages since 2007 in Oman and Qatar.May 2013 - Nov 2019 : Oman Operations -TOCOMy BD & work winning portfolio included marketing, communications, business development ,PQ , tendering, contract negotiation ,closing and account management.Under Operations portfolio, my responsibilities included the overall profitability of projects, delivery, planning, quality, HSE and management of various upstream, midstream and downstream oil & gas contracts. I also acted as the key account manager for our clients and was responsible in maintaining excellent working relationship with client representatives. In this capacity , I also acted as a subject matter expert in trouble shooting planning, quality and technical matters. I worked closely with site managers and project managers in meeting client expectations while meeting/exceeding QHSE objectives and profitability. My operational challenges included managing, resourcing and planning for ad-hoc works, call-off contracts, shutdowns, fast track construction contracts and emergency work in an extremely cost sensitive market. My role was a combination of technical, commercial and managerial nature with an overarching responsibility of the projects under my portfolio (~90% of company TO).Sep 2007 - Apr 2013 : Qatar Operations -Madina Group WLLDuring my time in Madina, I headed the Operations, Business Development, Marketing and Planning functions at various stages . I managed long term frame work contracts , large construction works, maintenance , shutdowns and EPC contracts for national and international oil, gas and petrochemical companies.
