Research indicates that polyphenols, natural compounds found in plants, fruits, and vegetables, can inhibit Aβ aggregation. We synthesized an analog of Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a polyphenol in tea, with enhanced binding affinity. Our study explores various polyphenols' effects on Aβ aggregation to develop novel AD prevention methods.
