I am a Civil Engineer with a degree from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, University of Kerala, class of 1990 with distinction. My professional journey began as an Apprentice Trainee at Kerala State Electricity Board, where I gained foundational industry experience. Seeking broader opportunities, I moved to Mumbai (then Bombay) and joined Petron Engineering and Construction Limited (PECL) as a Graduate Engineering Trainee.At PECL, I was involved in the TISCO modernization project in Jamshedpur, where I worked extensively on the fabrication and erection of steel structures. My contributions led to a promotion to Grade 5 Engineer, after which I was transferred to the Sonadih Cement Plant in Raipur. There, I oversaw the fabrication and erection of steel structures across various plant locations, gaining valuable expertise in equipment installation and alignment.In 1993, I embarked on an international career, relocating to the UAE. I spent the next three years as Project Engineer at Al Qarhood Building Contracting Company in Sharjah. My role focused on the construction of luxury villas and buildings, where I was deeply involved in both estimation and site supervision. This experience laid the groundwork for my long-term career in the Middle East.Following my tenure at Al Qarhood, I joined Belhasa Projects LLC (formerly Belhasa Anthony Pools), where I dedicated 17 years, starting as a Project Engineer. Over time, I progressed to Senior Project Manager and Business Unit Manager, where I led the Actioncrete Division and Timber Works. My portfolio included the execution of large-scale external works such as swimming pools, water features, and both hard and soft landscaping projects. I also managed concrete refurbishment, timber structures like gazebos, pergolas, timber decking, and street furniture, all integral to the landscape industry. In 2014, I joined Desert Group as Operations Manager, continuing to refine my expertise in landscape, pools, and associated works. My role involved overseeing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.In April 2019, I transitioned to Water In Motion as General Manager, where I currently serve as Director. I am responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day activities, leading teams, and driving strategic initiatives. Under my leadership, the company has successfully delivered several prestigious projects across the UAE and KSA, reinforcing our reputation for excellence in the industry.
