CurrentReviewing project specifications and preparing comprehensive quality controlprocedures as required Attending Technical, Pre Inspection, and Kick-off Meetings to ensure alignment withproject goals Maintaining effective communication with clients throughout all project stages andmanaging all quality-related communications with clients, addressing concerns andensuring satisfaction Monitoring and assessing welder performance in terms of productivity and quality ofwelded joints, implementing strategies to enhance existing welder skills andrecruiting welders proficient in a variety of welding techniques to meet upcomingproject demands Coordinating and actively participating in ASME and ISO audits and ensuringadherence to relevant standards and certifications Minimizing weld repair rate, conducting thorough investigations to identify rootcauses of weld defects and implementing corrective and preventive actionsthroughout shop activities Collaborating with external test laboratories to ensure accurate and thoroughdestructive and non-destructive testing of completed test coupons, adhering toapplicable weld qualification codes Establishing comprehensive guidelines on specific welding procedures forproduction and welding personnel, covering specification restrictions, materials,processes, preheating, interpass temperature requirements, complex alloy usage,impact considerations, intricate fabrication methods, welding of critical joints, andcomplex post-weld heat treatment Conducting thorough evaluations of new developments in the field of welding,exploring their potential application to improve existing welding processes andaddress production challenges
