Two month summer internship with Vodafone Chennai involved customer and retailer facing market research and analysis to identify the penetration and perception of 3G in North Chennai regionResponsibilities include;• Working with the Vodafone customer service executives in key Vodafone Stores to understand the offerings and the record customer behavior focused on new connections and complaints• Primary research interviewing customers and retailers across the North Chennai region to understand the perception of 3G and Vodafone• Developing the questionnaire to focus on identifying the various factors involved in the decision making process for a customer when getting a 3G connection• Working with the distributors and sales personnel to understand the sales and distribution network to provide better recommendations from the analysis

The work involved managing and configuring Cisco routers and switches and a significant role in data-center migration for the client. It included hands-on work with PaloAlto firewall, F5 load-balancers, Cisco firewall and Avaya voice networks. It also involved process and problem management for the network tower. The tenure in TCS included supporting two multinational vendors based out of USA in heavy vehicle manufacturing industry and pet supplies industry.
