Project Description : The DevOps team helps the Product Development team and the OPCO specific teams in setting up and providing the CI/CD mechanisms in a seamless manner. The DevOps team performs the build, sanity and deployment using TeamCity and Jenkins CI and resolves the issues in this regard. Also provides the team members the SCM/build set-up and resolution of issues related to configuration management and build (SVN/ GIT). Managing product deployment and troubleshooting the issues. Role : • Defining the software configuration management life cycle processes and procedures for multi-product solutions delivery to address software solutions evolution strategy• Providing support for branching merging and other SCM activities (SVN and GIT) to the team• Developing and enhancing the automated build framework (Teamcity and Jenkins) to accelerate the process, deploy the product across different platforms• Setup, maintenance and troubleshoot build environments.• Good understanding of DevOps tools like Puppet and Docker• Administered Subversion and GIT• Sound knowledge of tools and technologies including Shell script, Ant script, Subversion, GIT, WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, Jenkins, Sonar.• Expertise in building of source code. Help the evolving internal teams in resolving the issues related to build and the CM tool used in the project. I have done a feasibility study of GIT as a configuration management tool to replace Rational Synergy. - Responsible for all the configuration management related activities across Evolving Systems.- Manage and maintain the IBM Synergy/CM and Synergy/Change setup- Distributed Configuration Management setup and monitoring.- Point of contact for the build and release for one of the internal teams.- Set-up and manage the configuration management infrastructure that includes tools for version control, bug tracking, build, deployment etc.- Own the definition of common source control policies and processes across various development teams, creating/merging branches/build tags- Work with development teams to identify and implement approach for automated nightly builds and automated build verification tests - Write scripts to automate build and deployment processes

Change Synergy, Lotus Notes, Python, Perl) related to the project, Co-ordinating with the other team for the smooth delivery of the product.Leading the Build and release team with list of scheduled activities and providing support to the development/testing team in terms of build/release and configuration. My responsibilities include:• Leading the Build and release team for nokia_audio_dsp.• Coming out with the baseline for different release branches and providing the binaries to the testing team.• Generating the release notes with the appropriate SCO and PCP Errors.• Post upgradation work such as updating the advise_for_integration.txt and component version update file.• Build and Release procedures and activities• Good Quality Release Notes.• Co-ordination with the Sanity team for the breakages reported and on sorting out the issue in the build.• Supporting Development Team on Configuration Tool Problems and Build issues.

Role:Initially, I was solely accountable for the build and configuration management of the project. Later, when the team grew, I have taken the responsibility administering and managing Rational Synergy, DOORS, and Rational Change and to work on preparing the SCM plans.Contribution:I was responsible for Managing CM, Build and Release and implementation of CM Synergy and Continuous Build environment in ABSuite project.My responsibilities include:- Work on ABSuite Products build and release activity.- Administering the Configuration management tool (CM Synergy) for two separate geographic sites (Bangalore and Sydney).- Helping the team in upgrading the synergy version from 6.5 version to 7.1.- Build and release related activities for the different releases in different streams.- Administering the requirements management tool (DOORS), change management tool (Telelogic Change), where there are users from 4 separate sites in the world. Implemented the DOORS and Change migration from Sydney to Bangalore. - Implemented the new license structure for Telelogic products for the different production centers, as and when required.- Training developers on Usage of Synergy, DOORS and Change, and giving guidance at the time of need.- Build environment for product (Agile Business Suite). - Documentation of all the activities. - Customizing tools like Telelogic DOORS and Telelogic Change.

My responsibilities included:- Manual testing, going through the complete cycle of the product usage.- Creating automated testing framework in C# .NET.- Writing test cases for the automated testing framework.- Automated testing using QTP.- Entering the bugs for KM and verifying.- Involved in the configuration management activities using ClearCase.- Involved in creation of VOB, View (Dynamic views), Branches and Config Spec.- Involved in the nightly build setup for the project.
