Conducted research on the following topics leading to 2 submitted conference papers and 1 Accepted journal paper 1 Selection of Ground Motion Prediction Equations for Seismic Hazard Analysis.• Selected Ground Motion Prediction Equations (GMPEs) applicable for Peninsular India (PI).• Ranked the selected GMPEs based on Log Likelihood approach (LLH).• Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) was estimated and mapped at rock depth considering highest ranked equation.• Probable earthquake location and maximum magnitude estimated based on rupture phenomenon. 2 Indigenous SPT analyzer for Hammer energy measurement• Carried out SPT at site using indigenously manufactured SPT analyzer.• Calculated the energy delivered to the soil using force-velocity method and Hamilton method in MATLAB. 3 Geophysical methods for Seismic Re-Qualification• Evaluated various methods of Geophysical and geotechnical testing methods such as SPT, surface wave methods (MASW) and GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar). • Evaluated the application of these methods to determine the damage due to various earthquake induced hazards with the help of selected case studies.
